In this script we’re going to use a class associated with ICM to output the version of ICM which we have installed.
That’s it! We are applying the version method on the WSApplication class.
The WSApplication class represents the top level of the application. It consists purely of class methods. These methods fall into three categories.
- Ones that get and set settings global to the application.
- Ones that create and open databases represented by the WSDatabase class.
- Running simulations – these methods allow access to advanced features of running simulations via the simulation agent.
You should see what version of ICM you have installed on your machine. Something like this:
